– I’m wondering if a student has the right to engage in work? I don’t like that children are regularly left after lessons or even removed from them, and instead of receiving the required knowledge, they wash the floors and sweep the school grounds.
– In Soviet times, involving schoolchildren in labor was a widespread practice and was one of the forms of patriotic education. Some modern Russian schools, despite changes in legislation, continue to force students to work and threaten them with sanctions for refusal. Often, when using child labor, they violate legal norms.
